Transformational Leadership Program is a high-energy, deep dive into J's popular #GSD Talks and Coaching Forums organized into an immersive 14-week learning cohort community with other leaders. 

The program features 8 live interactive classes (every other Wednesday) with break-out sessions, and an online platform loaded with 14 distinct self-guided and community learning modules that will transform the way you think, which in turn will transform the way you lead. 

  • Cohort Community

    You will join a cohort (up to 30 people) of like-minded professionals to leverage the collective IQ and build community.    To get the most out of each course, we recommend engaging with your fellow learners and practicing your new skills with others in real- world settings.

  • Weekly Assignments

    Assignments pack in over 25 years of 120VC best-practices and curation today's top thought leader insights and proven frameworks. Beyond theory, gain actionable practices. Online, self-guided assignments begin on Monday and be completed by Friday of each week.

  • Bi-Weekly Online Instructor-Led Classes

    Participate in eight online instructor-led classes with J. Scott. The Zoom sessions are two and a half hours every other Wednesday. They will consist of a mix of video, lecture, discussion, and break-out groups.

  • Online Dashboard

    The TLA is now powered by Thinkific. it serves as the basecamp for your 14 week learning journey. Download resources and watch videos. Discussion boards, chat with cohort, post reflections and feedback from the instructor and peers.

  • Time Commitment

    100% online, 14-weeks 8 two and a half hour online instructor-led video Zoom classes.   Two weeks of assignments and learning community interaction between each online instructor-led class.  Plan 2–3 hours for each week’s assignments to watch videos and read articles, complete assignments, and engage in discussion and reflection.

  • Earn Points

    Earn points for participation and completed assignments. Everyone’s running score is posted weekly on the TLA dashboard. To receive a certificate of completion and the associated PDU’s/CEU’s, you must complete the course with a participation score of at least 70%.

    - Download and ability to use free version of the Zoom (video conferencing).

    Mobile
    DO NOT attempt to engage in the bi-weekly instructor-led classes on a mobile device. Mobile and tablets are NOT required but are great learning aids.

  • Is there a Certificate, PDU’s or CEU’s?

    No. After successful completing the course, participants receive a Certificate of Completion.

  • Can my entire team attend?

    Yes, the TLP is perfect for teams. The 14-week TLP course is made available to the general public multiple times each calendar year with each cohort limited to 30 seats.

  • What if something comes up and I can’t participate?

    After years of running the TLP we know that sometimes unforeseen or unavoidable life circumstances can come up. While we do not offer discounts or refunds for cancellations, in such circumstances, we allow people one opportunity to reschedule to future cohorts as availability allows. We offer the TLP multiple times each calendar year, each cohort limited to 30 seats.

    Participation is essential to your success in this class. You are required to participate just as if you were in a face-to-face course. To get full credit for participation, you will have to complete your assignments on a timely basis. Consistent failure to participate in the class will result in being dropped from the course. We do not offer refunds to students that are dropped from the course.
